Orthopaedic Surgery

Orthopaedic surgery encompasses any surgery that is related to bones or joints. It includes procedures such as fracture repairs, ligament repairs and spinal surgery to name a few.

We use the services of Dr Ewen Blaikie of Small Animal Orthopaedics who is a mobile orthopaedic veterinary surgeon with a high level of expertise.  This allows us to offer clients the convenience of having surgeries such as TPLO's, fracture repairs and other more specialist surgeries that we would otherwise have to refer elsewhere to be performed "in house" with the comfort of knowing that our team will be looking after your pet throughout the surgery. 

Complicated orthopaedic cases, such as spinal surgery, may need to be referred to a specialist orthopaedic surgeon. Our veterinarians will assess each case individually and provide the best advice for you and your pet.
