We provide you and your pets with an after-hours emergency service for critical illness or injury. We hope your pet never needs us for an emergency however, common emergencies relate to car accidents, heart conditions, poisoning and a range of injuries.
We do not provide an on-site after-hours overnight hospitalisation service or after-hours emergency service for critical illness or injury but refer you to our trusted Veterinary colleagues at nearby Baldivis Emergency Hospital just 10 minutes away.
We are so lucky to also have WAVES (Western Australian Veterinary Emergency and Speciality) and Murdoch University Animal Hospital (both just 30 minutes away) and Port City Emergency Vets (45 minutes away) who are there awake and prepared for whatever your pet presents with at whatever hour of the night.
For major surgeries that require ongoing critical monitoring, we also refer to Baldivis where the veterinary staff can monitor your pet closely throughout the night to monitor and provide any medication required e.g. on-demand pain relief, intravenous fluid therapy or antibiotics.
Upon arrival, your pet will be assessed by one of their veterinarians. They will provide an estimate of the costs involved with your case, however, please be aware that with emergency procedures costs can vary depending on what services and treatments are required and are not always known at the time of admission. You will be kept updated regularly during the course of your pet's stay in hospital. In some cases, your pet will be referred back to us for ongoing treatment the day after, but for patients requiring ongoing treatment over several days it is often better to leave them in one hospital until fully recovered.
